CURTIS OK, THE LAD REACHING OUT FOR HEIGHTS

The industry may be filled with a substantial number of men but it does not mean they bulldoze their way through to the top. It is even more difficult for men to make it to the top comparing the chances they have against women.
Curtis Osei Kuffour Ishmael is a Kumasi based young actor who is yet to break the ice ceiling to find himself among the A-List of actors in Ghana. Curtis OK, as he prefers to be called in showbiz, works guided by the saying,
“You are a victor even as you continue to fight when you are losing.”
The Christmas eve born son is a humble and hardworking person who shows so much commitment and zeal to any production he is attached to.
Currently, Curtis is under the management of SEG Talent Agency. The fast rising actor has been involved with a few productions with The Northern King being the high-profile movie among the lot. Some productions he has been casted for include Street Court, a TV Series Choices and Stained Red.
Although Curtis was casted for a very minor role SEG Cineland’s first full feature “The Northern King,” his performance was one to behold, impressing almost everyone that watched the movie directed by M. Sayibu.
Curtis has now been casted for a key role in SEG Cineland’s next production, “Slumber Party.” OK plays the role of Jesse in “Slumber Party.” Jesse is a member of the organizing team for “Slumber Party.” Surrounded by people who pay little attention to details, Jesse is placed in a position where he is the only one always working to ensure the right thing is done.
Curtis Osei Kuffour had his second cycle education at Asanteman Senior High School, Kumasi. He is currently pursuing a degree from the University of Education, Winneba.
