SEG CINELAND AND HANGOUT MASTER TO LAUNCH PROJECT SLUMBER PARTY ON JULY 15

SEG Cineland and Hangout Master, producers of anticipated franchise Slumber Party, are set to officially launch the project ahead of commence of shoot on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the plush Ultra Ox Lounge, located on top of the Woodin Building, Osu Oxford Street.
In a discussion with the Head of Development of SEG, Mr. Sidney Arthur revealed that the idea of launching a movie before shoot commenced was part of the production house’s aim to get closer to the target audience for the movie, as well as whip interest for the event, Slumber Party.
Adding to his earlier statement, Mr. Arthur also said that the launch, which is dubbed “#PartyTillSunrise is also an opportunity for fans to meet and get familiar with the cast and crew for Slumber Party.
The event is scheduled to commence at 10pm with gates being opened freely for ladies till 11pm. Performing on the night are DJs Mr. Sid, Wallpaper, Kessy King and award-winning DJ Nyce. Hangout Master’s Bruh_Lex, MC Captain and Duke with take charge from the mic, controlling an energetic and fun filled atmosphere. The rate is GHS 30.00. DB Styles and Kay Spunky will be making a guest appearance.
Slumber Party is a movie centered around night life in Ghana.
Kevin (Duke M. K. Adjahoe) and his crew (Sultan Quaye, Dzifa Morny, Bhurbery Damalie, Precious Sampson, Curtis OK Ishmael) come together at the end of every academic year to organize what has become the biggest graduation party dubbed “Slumber Party.” In 2017, the crew decide to host the party in an abandoned house which belonged to the Crane family. After pulling every available resource and getting funds from the richest kid on campus, Solution (Leonard Zeini), the crew finally pull off a good party.
An Ivorian, who relocated to Ghana during the civil war, has built a vibrant business empire in Accra, becoming Accra’s most prolific pimp. MzBad (Sandra Nannon), on hearing about Slumber Party, puts together her best girls with a vision of expanding her business.
Nana Yaa (Ayisha Yunus), a very reserved and brilliant law student, who is also graduating that year is convinced to attend the Slumber Party by her childhood friend Edna (Michelle Mensah), a well-known party freak. Nana Yaa becomes David (played by Kelvin Fnk, a Casanova with a big heart)’s interest at the party that ends abruptly because of a power outage.
The party takes a different turn after all goes dark.
The movie, directed by M. Sayibu, which features celebrated actors David Dontoh and Vincent Mccauley of Things We Do For Love fame, will be premiered at a house party to be organized by Hangout Master in October called “Slumber Party.”
Slumber Party is the second movie from SEG Cineland in 2017 after The Northern King which is set for release by Amazon Prime in August. Slumber Party will also be available on Amazon Prime for worldwide viewing.
